GRESHAM WOODS

Went to gresham woods, dug up black berry bushes & holly, was really hard work but worth it, "always wear gloves if you don't you'll regret it". it's an  invasive  species  is why we were digging it up, it kills native plants.

Kelly Creek

We consider these field trips but we were kind of doing community service. We would go to kelly creek once maybe several times a week and each time we had a different goal we would look forward to by the end of the day. We pulled invasive plants such as Black berries and ivy, while replacing those areas with plants that could help the invasive plants stay gone. We also did stream work as well as learn about why it is important to keep our creeks and streams clean and free from hazards.
